Terms of Service

These terms cover the PasteNotch apps for Mac and iPhone, the PasteNotch Cloud service and the web library (together, “PasteNotch”), made and run by Vladimir Babic (“we”). By using PasteNotch you agree to them. Contact: [email protected].

Your account

You sign in to PasteNotch with Apple, Google or your email address. Keep access to the Apple, Google or email account you sign in with, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for activity on it.

Plans

• Free trial. New accounts get 14 days of PasteNotch at no charge. One trial per account.
• PasteNotch is a one-time purchase that keeps the app working after the trial: unlimited clipboard history, Pages, pins, search and iCloud sync between your Macs.
• PasteNotch Cloud is a monthly subscription that includes the app plus screenshots, text capture, screen recording, share links, bookmarks, the web library and Cloud storage (25 GB unless your plan says otherwise).

Prices are shown before you pay and are charged by Polar, our merchant of record, in your currency where available, plus any applicable tax.

Subscriptions

PasteNotch Cloud renews every month until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Manage subscription; you keep Cloud until the end of the period you paid for. After it ends, your Cloud content stays available for 30 days to download, then it is deleted. Your local clipboard history on your devices is never affected. If we change the subscription price, we will tell you in advance and the new price applies from your next renewal.

Your content

What you copy, upload or save stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to store, process and show it back to you, for example to sync it, make it searchable, and serve share links you create. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle it.

Acceptable use

Don’t use PasteNotch, and especially share links, to store or distribute content that is illegal, infringes someone else’s rights, or contains malware; to harass anyone; or to probe, overload or break the service. We may disable share links or suspend accounts that do.

License to the apps

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the PasteNotch apps on devices you own or control, for as long as your plan allows. Don’t resell, reverse engineer or redistribute them, except where the law allows it.

Availability and changes

We work to keep PasteNotch reliable, but it is provided “as is”, without guarantees that it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own backups of anything important; you can export a backup from Settings → Data. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue PasteNotch Cloud we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and a way to download your content.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.

Ending

You can stop using PasteNotch and delete your account at any time from the app. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.
